Book Description: Princess Winter is admired by the Lunar people for her grace and kindness, and despite the scars that mar her face, her beauty is said to be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana.
Winter despises her stepmother, and knows Levana won’t approve of her feelings for her childhood friend–the handsome palace guard, Jacin. But Winter isn’t as weak as Levana believes her to be and she’s been undermining her stepmother’s wishes for years. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder, and her allies, Winter might even have the power to launch a revolution and win a war that’s been raging for far too long.
Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter defeat Levana and find their happily ever afters? Fans will not want to miss this thrilling conclusion to Marissa Meyer’s national bestelling Lunar Chronicles series.

Finally got to read the conclusion of The Lunar Chronicles! I am weird and I have to have a series be the same kind of book (hardback or paperback) so I waited until it came out in paperback to buy and read. I was definitely not disappointed I thought the conclusion of the story was very well done. I do wish there was a little more closure on what happens to everyone in the end like a little epilogue that sums it up, but I was still very happy with the book.

I love how each book has a different fairy tale person in it, but in a different setting with just some similarities to the stores. First you had Cinder (Cinderella), then Scarlet (Red Riding Hood), next up Cress (Rapunzel), and in this book Winter (Snow White). I just thought the whole series was such a fun take on them and how they are all intertwined in the story, but yet the story is on its own and has its own plot and is a unique idea. The characters in the book are really well written and you get to know them and I felt invested in everyone and was rooting for them all to get what they all wanted.

I thought the plot of this series was great and the conclusion in Winter was a good ending to it. You finally get the see the culmination of all that has been coming and how the final battle is going to end. Winter played a pivotal role in helping Cinder get her throne back and help save the people of Earth and Luna. Even though Winter wasn’t introduced until the final book she was no less important and I became attached to her character. I think everyone has a good story and are all unique. I think the story has a nice flow to it and even though it is the longest of the books it didn’t feel like it; in fact it ended too soon! I want to read more about what happens next for them.

I would definitely recommend this book and this whole series. I think this would make a great TV series or even a series of movies if it was done right!
