Book Description:

With the head-to-head battle against the villainous Lokesh behind her, Kelsey confronts a new heartbreak: in the wake of his traumatic experience, her beloved Ren no longer remembers who she is. As the trio continues their quest by challenging five cunning and duplicitous dragons, Ren and Kishan once more vie for her affections–leaving Kelsey more confused than ever.

I just finished the third book the The Tiger Saga series by Colleen Houck. I am mostly enjoying this series so far. I am getting a little annoyed with the poor pitiful me mood that Kelsey sometimes gets into. I get it maybe in the first book because these adventures are new to her and what she is having to do is hard, but she is on the third quest by now. It seems to be that there is like an outline for each quest in each book. She has to do something and gets super scared and whiney about it and then she somehow gets hurt in some way or another and almost dies. Now don’t get me wrong this doesn’t make me not like the series I just wish that by now Kelsey knew that she was a strong woman and that she can handle this missions.

I am torn on the love triangle going on because I am totally one sided and only want her with Ren. I get that he pushed her away and everything but Kishan is not just her match. I know that Kelsey knows in her heart that she is really in love with Ren and is just scared to admit it and to hurt Kishan. I think there is someone else out there for Kishan, in fact my guess for the fourth book is he will end up with Durga because they have some chemistry when she comes to life in the books. I just feel that Ren challenges her and she challenges him, plus come on the chemistry between them literally produces golden light/fire. Plus the things he says to her are just so sweet and romantic.

I think this is a good series I like that it is something different. I like how there is like history involved and they are having to do research into all kinds of myths and legends. I think the quests so far have been fun and entertaining. I like that you don’t really know what they are up against until it happens. I think there is good humor in it and find myself laughing out loud sometimes at the lines. I think the three main characters, Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan, are great and have a great chemistry between them. I love Mr. Kadam and emotionally this book with him was hard. Won’t say much on that.

I am going to start the fourth book right away so that I know what happens and so I can find out who Kelsey ends up with. I am glad I didn’t start this series until all 4 books were out or I might have gone crazy.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
